Summer Book Club  

Westtown's Summer Book Club is for students from any school entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade. Students should choose the books they are interested in, and sign up for the book club meetings on those dates. Attendees provide their own books.

June 29: Panda-monium, by Stuart Gibbs

July 13: Land of Stories: Worlds Collide, by Chris Colfer

August 24: Schooled, by Gordon Korman

Fourteen-year-old twin basketball stars Josh and Jordan wrestle with highs and lows on and off the court as their father ignores his declining health.

How it works

WHO: kids entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in September

WHERE: Mary Hutton Biddle Library in the Main Building at Westtown School

WHEN: 4 to 5pm Thursdays, June 29, July 13, July 27, August 10, and August 24

BOOKS: Participants provide their own copies of the books. You can borrow them from your public library or purchase them. Land of Stories: Worlds Collide will be released just days before the meeting July 13; you may want to pre-order this title.

HOW TO SIGN UP: Choose the books you are interested in reading, and sign up for the book club meetings on those dates. You will find registration on the Westtown Summer Programs page, or link directly here.

SPACE IS LIMITED to 12 PARTICIPANTS at each meeting.
